Recent Happenings

As any of you that read this have probably noticed, I haven't been posting much lately. I don't exactly know why, maybe I just haven't had anything to say. Here are some things that have been going on:

Cooper and Alli have both been sick, to varying degrees, for about three weeks. I picked up ear drops for Cooper for the second time in that span and Alli has been coughing consistently for almost the entire time.

I traveled to Knoxville on Saturday afternoon for work. Once a year each of our stores take annual inventory. Because I work in retail accounting I had to pick a store to be the observer. I originally chose Lexington and we were going to make it a family trip but that got cancelled. I then chose Knoxville because of the familiarity. We were at the store until about 2:30 a.m. Sunday morning, back at 1:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon, and then I left to blaze the trail back home at about 6:00 p.m. eastern time. The trip was fine, but I missed A & C.

Church is going well. We are in a study that I am really enjoying. It is called "Tough Sayings of Jesus II." We are going to start the third lesson soon. If you have a Sunday school class or small group that is looking for something challenging and extremely interesting I would definitely recommend it.

Basketball season comes to an end tonight and tomorrow. Tonight Memphis takes on Kansas for the national title and tomorrow Tennessee takes on Stanford. This year's men's tournament has been great, even though my bracket was garbage. I have to admit last night was the first game of the women's tournament I have watched and I will watch tomorrow also. Hopefully the Lady Vols can make it two in a row.

Last, I found out today that I passed the ethics portion of the CPA exam. It was take home so I am not particularly surprised, although you have to make a 90% to pass. Now I will be waiting on the State to send me the application to become licensed and then get my certificate.

That's the past few weeks in a nutshell. Hopefully I can get back on track with updating regularly. Until next time...

Jeremy - Thanks for posting about doing Tough Sayings - I really hope you guys enjoy it. I had a sort of fun time writing it. It was, ummmm, "tough."
